It appears as if the cleantech M&A market is getting back on its previous growth track, however, many transactions were energy generating solar- or windparks while only the icing on the transaction cake was technology driven. Looking at the overall M&A market in Germany, cleantech deals have a market share of 6.4 % in absolute terms, near the same level than last year, but with a higher level in overall M&A transactions.
